Due to the stupidity and retardation of xanga, I have now moved to a new address...

Over-shopping is a sick thing...

The 12th and 13th of dec 2008 is one of the most suffering days of my life in this year. I was almost killed. To start, my aunt from Sandakan same from KL. I mean, she is from Sandakan. But she went to KL for some shopping and she stopped at my house for 3 days to shop in KK before returning to Sandakan. So my duty is... to be her guide a.k.a the sacrificial lamb. I have been looking forward to shopping the past few days as school holidays are on and things are getting a bit bored here.

Knowing the type of person she is, I was very excited at first and i thought i could out-shop her. But I have made a terrible mistake. 12th of Dec 2008, I was stuck in ! Borneo for 7 hours shoppig with her. My brain is on the verge of hysteria, my legs begging me to cut them off and I almost seen the Light and The Lord's hand.

First stop... Elianto.

Most girls... I believe you all know Elianto to bee all affordable selling cheap and cheerful colours. But this woman, Managed to shop in elianto until %^*&(@$(%. Can you see the figure in the photo? Let me tell you. RM 248.30

Honestly, I myself enjoyed the place. I mean look at those. Those bright vivid fancy colours. I know I can't use it. But I would just love to see those applied on to other people. Its so much like the United Colours of Benetton. I really did not mind being an answering machine here all along... Responding to "Hey is this nice?", "What do you think of these?", "I think these are better, don't you?" and the list goes on...

My favourite female brand of all... Carlo Rino!!! Okay... Once again I know I can't use it. But I just love getting one of these for my mum and my "boss". Just love the colours and the autumn leaf motive.

After all these that took 7 hours... We stoped at Mc D to try to feel our legs.... And after that... We got these...

Cheapskate wathces... RM 7 each. What the? Can you not buy it? No!

And you know what? At the end of the shopping spree, we found out that all purchase of RM 300 and above in a single reciept are entitled for a Platinum member's card. We are short of just RM51.70 from the Elianto reciept!!! Shit! Bye bye platinum... So we got ourselves the normal Privilage card... And since we have so many reciepts, I got one for my "boss" too.

Then at night... Met some ex-classmates in The Hut for dinner... Because I was so full from all the Jap food and Mc D, I just ate..

After that, I went to look for my aunt and family who were dining nearby. Jap Restaurant again!!!! Sick of it!

And the day doesn't end here... Went to yoyo to meet another bunch of friends... And guess who i saw? This lady...

Laura... She was wearing make-ups.

Went for a game in Cyber-X, and went home after that... What a day... Yeah its fun... But I'm sick now. Almost could not go to church this morning. And that is why i could not post on that day. Didn't mean to make a suspense... So how did this country owed me? Just try to think of the amount of money spent here. It has improved our economy by about 5%.

**Btw... If any xanga manager or moderator is reading this now, try to improve on the service that you are providing. Cure the lag. Make the "New Entry" page more user-friendly. No wonder many of my friends are moving to blogspot.com and blogger.com. Please. The past few days hass seen intolerable lag and troubles accessing blogs. The "New Entry" page seriously needs some major revamp. It is almost impossible to set the alignment of the text and photos. Please cure this retardation as i remain faithful to your company. Thank you.

Jimny Expedition

Can't really remember when is the last time when I've blogged. But recently, holidays, inneficient project teammates and superiors, and a brief rest from the Family of God has given me some time or rather "itch" to post a new entry. So... What is Jimny? What about Jimny? No its not the cricket's name from Pinocchio. Last saturday, 3 creatures form UMS headed for Ranau for a study trip in which i am one of them. Everything about the trip was just so exciting and in all my trips to Ranau, nothing and i mean nothing compares to this one.

We stayed in the house of a super mechanic by the name Thow Seng who is actually the uncle of one of the  creatures. Man this guy got a big workshop in Ranau. And I tell you, He fixes and modifies any cars including _________ (fill in the blanks) and even _________ (fill in the blanks). Almost any car ever created is not a problem to him. And i thought i was the Car God. The first talk to this person immediately reduced me to one of the Car God's archangels angels. I mean.. He does lorries, trucks, normal cars, even Skylines, Sylvias, and Levins. What the? Well I've heard of this guy some time ago and in this trip, I suppose to test-drive one of his super machines besides doing my project. But all of those were sold off when I was there and there was no new stocks. Screw it.

Still... We have the Jimny.

Suzuki Jimny. 80 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque sounds modest for a car and useless for a 4-wheel drive until I found out it has to pull a mere 1000 kgs of kerb weight. This is one heck of a car. I can drive it on highways and overtake many bigger cars and shame them at the traffic lights. And i could abuse it in jungle tracks, rivers, muds and magma which is what i did in Ranau. In return, it even rewarded me with a smile at the fuel station. This was also rebuilt by the super mechanic as it was a piece of scrap before.

This is one of the terrain that this car can undertake...

Even this... Just trust me... No matter how hard the rain is, how messed up are you in mud or shit, this car will just pull you out of it. Those tracks my look okay in photos, but in reality it is really much worse. Not mentioning the fact that we were in some remote places away from civilization. Aided just by memory, instincts and a GPS.

There was once where we got stuck on a steep hill in some remote maze. The tires just slipped in vain on the slipery surface and just when we thought we will be fossilised, I got down, locked the front wheels, and selected the L4 gear. This things just climbed out of that mess like a rhinoceros beetle.

I forgot to introduce the owner of this car. The name is Qai-li or Kylie. Both the car and its owner are wolves in sheep's skin.

This is somewhere near my area of study which in in Poring.

These makes you a man... These stubborn leeches won't leave no matter how hard u pull, spit or fart at it. They are a distant cousin of vampires. One tip is to bring some used sanitary towel along so you can negotiate with these things to feed on the blood there instead of your feet. Well, it's always worth a try.

 And after feeding some leeches, we decided to feed ourselves. So off we drove to...

Sabah Tea!!!

Trust me... When I saw the price at the menu, I almost called the SWAT team.

But considering the nice view I get and the fact that people have to transport the raw materials all the way up here, I didn't.

Sabah Tea Butter Prawns... Mmmm... Succulent Prawns deep fried with a a layer of egg and butter. One bite and the flavour floods your mouth. I am just astonished at the quality that they can produce.

Mixed vegetables. The aromatic garlic sauce is just what you need to help yourself realize that there is actually a reason to live for in this world besides Jimny. But the button mushrooms are a turnoff as they failed to remove the sucky odour.

Of course... How can we miss this? Sabah Tea. The most fragrant, smooth and seductive tea. At least in Malaysia.

This ends my tribute to Jimny. What I can say? Wow! It is a heck of a car. It gives you assurance wherever you are. Performs on the highway and city and when the need arise, it tramples of mother nature's unforgiving conditions. Cheap to run and maintain as well. Because it comes from the workshop of the Car God, Thow Seng... from Ranau.
